Rich in nourishing, healthy fats - contains a lot of fatty acids, which are also found in skin cell membranes. The skin may become dry or itchy if the membrane is deficient in fatty acids.
The mineral selenium helps sustain the membrane of skin cells and contains fat-soluble vitamin A, which has anti-aging properties.
Bovine colostrum contains epithelial (skin) growth factors, which promotes a healthy and vibrant complexion and may be good for some skin problems.
Colostrum soap is less likely to disturb the microorganisms living on the skin's surface or peel away natural lipids that assist preserve the skin's natural barrier function due of its moderate washing qualities. Lactobacillus, a probiotic required for lactic acid synthesis, is naturally present in bovine colostrum.
